Security, Safety Certification Class Is Set for September
Designed for health care safety and security officers, September’s three-day, eight-hour course is based on International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety, or IAHSS, curriculum. It takes place Sept. 9, 16 and 23 at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena.
The course teaches basic training and skills for health care security officers. Students will apply tools and techniques learned to take and pass the IAHSS Basic Healthcare Security Officer Certification exam.
The session will be of interest to health care security and safety officers seeking to increase their levels of professionalism and service and those who are interested in earning IAHSS basic level certification.
