Architecture design firm HOK and general contractor Bernards, based in Los Angeles, have been jointly tapped for a design-build renovation project of the Martin Luther King Jr. Behavioral Health Center, which is located in the South Los Angeles community of Willowbrook. The new facility will replace the former Martin Luther King, Jr./Drew Medical Center, located on the campus of the Martin Luther King Jr. Medical CampusLuther King Jr./Drew Medical Center. In addition to the MLK Community Hospital, the site also entails an outpatient center and a recuperative care center.
