Workforce Burnout Crisis Webinar Is March 25
COVID-19 has brought unprecedented changes and challenges to the health care workforce. Prior to the pandemic, the field already experienced record rates of burnout among clinicians and workers.
The effects of burnout can be disastrous, both for your team and your patients. What can you do to prevent it? And how can we leverage the current crisis to reinforce professionalism and resiliency to create stronger, more patient-centric organizations?
In A Workforce Burnout Crisis: Exploring Signs and Solutions, panelists Andrew Agustin, chief nursing executive officer with Community Hospital of Huntington Park, Ellen Kuhnert, chief nursing officer at Orange County Global Medical Center, Ramona Pratt, chief nursing officer at PIH Health Hospital – Whittier and moderator Theresa Murphy, chief nursing officer at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital will draw from years of experience in health leadership to create a high-impact learning experience.
The online event runs from 9 – 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 25. Reserve your place.
During the roundtable discussion, participants will share their organizational experience with employee burnout and fatigue and any challenges that the group might be able to help you solve. Come prepared to share your thoughts and experiences. We look forward to your participation.
The session is designed with the following learning objectives.
- To explore the impact of the COVID-19 environment on your workforce.
- To frame the prevalence and consequence of burnout in a medical environment.
- To offer solutions to combat burnout, both on a personal and organizational level.
