Workplace Violence Prevention Webinar Offered
As incidents of workplace violence continue to increase in the health care industry, hospital managers are looking for ways to protect employees and patients. Experts agree that prevention is the best way to protect both against violent acts.
HASC is supporting an educational webinar in partnership with Collective Medical, exploring techniques hospitals are implementing in California and around the country to prevent workplace violence – using automated prediction analytics. By attending, you will learn specific actions you can take to:
- Increase reporting rates for violence by 20 percent.
- Recognize patterns for violence to prevent future episodes.
- Coordinate safety efforts between security and medical staff.
- Lower physical and verbal assault by 40 percent.
The webinar is provided, free of charge, through your HASC membership, and will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12. For those unable to attend, a recorded version is available after the live webinar.
