Audra Strickland has joined HASC as Regional Vice President of Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties as of Nov. 1. She will be responsible for managing the local and regional legislative and regulatory issues affecting the health care delivery system in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, as identified by the hospitals located in that region.

In her previous role as Assemblywoman for the 37th Assembly District, Strickland represented 450,000 people in Ventura, Los Angeles and Kern counties; served as Vice Chair of Assembly Accountability and Administrative Review Committee; and was a senior member of the Assembly Health Committee. Successful in her appointment, Strickland authored, introduced and passed legislation in multiple policy areas.
