Hear from Wellness Experts at June Conference for Health Care Providers
Does wellness save money? Do vendors make up outcomes? What is the true value-on-investment approach to assessing workplace wellness programs, as opposed to the more traditional return-on-investment model?
Hear Perspectives from the Experts at the 2014 Health Care Provider Wellness Conference, June 12-13 at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel in Anaheim. Ron Goetzel, PhD, Research Professor/Vice President Emory University/Truven Health Analytics, will share the business case for adopting evidence-based, comprehensive, and well-resourced workplace health promotion programs, as well as review the methods used to evaluate these programs in real world settings while acknowledging the limitations of programs that may not produce expected outcomes. In the second part of this session on June 12, Al Lewis, Founder and President, Disease Management Purchasing Consortium International, Inc., will shed light on wellness program metrics versus myths. Attendees will receive specific tools, in the form of e-handouts, which they can use to answer questions for themselves.
