Register Now for CHA Health Policy Legislative Day, March 18 and 19
2014 is shaping up to be a transformative year for California hospitals, with implementation of the Affordable Care Act, proposed ballot initiatives and impending legislation. Plan now to join fellow hospital leaders for an important advocacy program—CHA Health Policy Legislative Day, March 18 and 19 in Sacramento. Hospital leaders can meet with elected representatives to explain the role hospitals play within communities, and how their votes will impact access to care.
After attendees register for the program, CHA’s advocacy staff will schedule appointments with members of the Legislature on their behalf — primarily group meetings with other hospital executives from their area. Scheduling will be coordinated with input from the Regional Associations.
Day One of the program includes:
- New Participant Briefing
- VIP Tour of the State Capitol
- Team Leader Briefing
- Government Relations | Welcome Reception
Day Two includes:
- Breakfast Reception with the Legislators
