Palliative Care

Overview

Palliative Care
Managing patients with progressive disease

February 11, 2011

Welcome to the HASC Palliative Care. As a group of palliative care professionals who are hospital based, we hope to accomplish our goals more quickly and productively than we could as individuals. Palliative care has always been collaborative and we believe that through hospitals working together with one another we can first and foremost provide better patient care, manage pain and symptoms more effectively, and demonstrate palliative care as a sustainable and worthwhile hospital endeavor.

On this site, we hope to provide you with palliative care resources, helpful links, useful articles, and a list serve, as well as basic information about Southern California programs and upcoming educational events.

End-of-life care for our patients’ families and loved ones can be one of the most challenging times of their lives and at HASC we are committed to being there for all the days of our patients’ lives.

We thank you for visiting. Please take some time to look around and feel free to let us know how we can better serve you and your patients.
