Critical Thinking for Charge Nurses Runs Oct. 5
HASC presents its Charge Nurse: Critical Thinking course from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5 in the Moseley-Salvatori Conference Center at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles.
Critical thinking is an essential skill for task management and decision making in high-risk situations. The course explores how information analysis can improve quality of thinking, and discusses key principles and barriers to thinking critically. Coursework will also focus on how the application of critical thinking through the nursing process can help staff arrive at appropriate decisions.
