The half-day Transgender Patient Care Certification Program runs from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, Nov. 6. Join Dr. Kristie Overstreet as she empowers professionals to provide the highest-quality, dignity-first care for transgender, gender-nonconforming, gender-queer and inter-sex patients. A new offering, A Workforce Burnout Crisis: Exploring Signs and Solutions, explores workplace stresses that can damage and short-circuit productivity — with special attention to the current pandemic environment. HASC’s popular Leadership & Charge Nurse: Creating a Culture of Safety course runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11. The offering focuses on the role of the nurse leader in creating a collaborative, open and safety-first atmosphere.
