- Developing, Measuring and Documenting Employee Competence takes place Wednesday, Sept. 18 in the Moseley-Salvatori Conference Center, Good Samaritan Hospital – Los Angeles. The intensive one-day workshop explains The Joint Commission competency standards and provides an opportunity for managers to advance their department competency tools. - A webinar detailing HASC education partner careLearning’s offerings takes place from 10 – 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25. careLearning is an online education firm that trains employees based on an assessment of the skills, knowledge, and abilities required to perform specific jobs. - Equal Pay: Understanding How Your Organization Rates Against Pay Equity Law Trends and Movements runs 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Sept. 26 at HASC’s downtown Los Angeles offices.
