Implicit Bias Course Slots Are Now Open
The Health Workforce Initiative (HWI), a HASC workforce initiative partner, is offering a no-cost, three-part workshop series on Implicit Bias, Cultural Proficiency and Language Justice to help health care providers and educators understand and address implicit bias as a barrier to health equity and health care effectiveness.
The first session takes place on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All health care professionals are welcome. Free CEUs are available — 4.5 hours per day for the first two days and 2.5 hours for the last day. It is not required for participants to take all three sessions.
This training is a cross-regional collaboration between the HWI San Bernardino, San Diego and Los Angeles regions. An informational flier is attached below.
