The Contracting Committee provides a forum for managed care contracting issues affecting hospitals in coordination and collaboration of CHA Staff, managed care and Statewide Payer Relations Committee; develops and recommends strategies for capitation and per diem contracting; tracks trends in managed care reimbursement and utilization, and California Care enrollment, demographics, payer mix and contracted provider network evolution along with related roll-out reimbursement issues; and works as a mechanism for evaluating payers and health plans.
