This week we learned of C. Duane Dauner’s tragic death in a solo auto wreck not far from his Palm Desert home. We are shocked and saddened. We mourn for him and for his surviving family members — wife Diane and his children and grandchildren.

Orange County PPE Distribution Seeks Volunteers

In Orange County, the California Office of Emergency Services is partnering with OCMA/CMA to distribute medical grade PPE equipment to qualifying small and medium sized medical practices of 50 physicians and under. 

“Our greatest need is for volunteers to work the two events,” said Jim Peterson, Orange County Medical Association’s executive director.

The Charge Nurse: Critical Thinking for RNs course is set for presentation via online video link from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The session is open to HASC and Hospital Council – Northern & Central California members.
