A new, Inland Empire-based LEAD Academy will deliver the six-session course at Riverside University Health System — Medical Center in Moreno Valley this summer and fall. Also in this edition of HASC Briefs, Carolyn Caldwell is named CEO at Dignity Health — St. Mary Medical Center Long Beach and the Board of Registered Nursing and Healthcare Professionals Intervention/Diversion Program plans a June date in San Diego.

HASC Welcomes CEO

Carolyn Caldwell is the newly-appointed CEO at Dignity Health — St. Mary Medical Center Long Beach. She officially begins on June 1.

Caldwell has 20 years of executive hospital experience and more than 30 years in the health care field. She most recently served as CEO at Desert Regional Medical Center (Tenet) in Palm Springs.  Caldwell holds a master’s degree in health care administration from Texas Woman’s University.

Nurse Intervention Event Wraps Up Two Sessions, Plans San Diego Date

A total of 80 people participated in this year’s Board of Registered Nursing and Healthcare Professionals Intervention/Diversion Program. The five-hour seminar was offered in the Los Angeles Area on April 10 and in the Inland Empire on April 11.
