HASC and the Institute for Performance Excellence (IPE) present the in-demand Lean Practitioners course beginning Feb. 22.

The Institute for Performance Excellence (IPE), a not-for-profit wholly owned subsidiary of HASC providing continuous process improvement programs and support to hospitals, announced the addition of Terry Buske as vice president of business development. As part of IPE’s leadership team, Buske will oversee all sales/business development for IPE training and consulting programs.

More than 50 people attended the October Los Angeles Society for Healthcare Improvement Professionals (SHIP) chapter meeting hosted at Keck Medical Center.

Congratulations to Rebecca Rivera, lead radiologic technologist at UCSD, and Rhonda Filipp, program manager, patient safety at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, both recently named level I Fellows of the Society for Healthcare Improvement Professionals (SHIP), a nationwide membership organization for performance improvement leaders.
