HFMA SoCal Conference Set for Sept. 9-11 in Indian Wells

The Health Care Financial Management Association’s Southern California and San Diego/Imperial County Annual Conference is set for Sept. 9-11, 2012, at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort in Indian Wells. HASC is a co-sponsor for this event.

Featuring 15 breakout sessions and multiple general sessions, the conference aims to provide insights about national and local health care trends impacting finance, patient financial services and managed care contracting. Speakers include:

Last 2012 Wound Care Training June 7-10 in Burbank

HASC, in partnership with the Wound Care Education Institute (WCEI), will bring members of Southern California’s hospitals, long-term care providers and home health agencies a four-day skin and wound management training course followed by a certification examination.

The session will take place June 7-10 at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Burbank.

June 22 Patient & Family Centered Care Conference Will Focus on Partnership

All members of the health care team are invited to attend the 3rd Annual Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) Conference, to be held June 22, 2012 at the Grand Long Beach Event Center. Interdisciplinary teams from health care organizations are encouraged to attend.
