At the request of HASC, Orange County Health Care Agency (HCA) officials have reconsidered a plan to utilize funding from the MSI Hospital Pool to pay for CMS-mandated increases in physician payments, and reversed that decision for the 2012-13 program year.

The Security and Safety Active Shooter Drill Tool Kit is now available online. The 2013 HASC Security and Safety Committee developed the tool kit to create greater awareness of workplace violence among hospitals and other health care facilities, and to provide the tools necessary for each facility to develop a local plan that leads to a safer, more prepared environment.

The 2013 Charity Golf Classic will be held Monday, Oct. 21, at the Oakmont Country Club, benefiting National Health Foundation (NHF).
