Scott Rifkin is CEO at Anaheim Global Medical Center.

Rifkin recently served as CEO at Kindred Hospital Westminster and before that, held administrative roles in facilities at Tenet Healthcare and HealthSouth. He is a seasoned administrator with more than 35 years in the health care field.

Registration is now open for the HASC Workforce Advisory Meeting series, with multiple locations available. Hospital HR professionals are invited to attend this important discussion about regional workforce needs, including critical staffing shortages, workforce data collection and developing stronger partnerships between hospitals and academic institutions. 

Input from these meetings will help inform and guide the association in developing a regional, coordinated and aligned workforce strategy that addresses both current and future health care workforce needs.

Seminar Provides Overview of
Nurse Intervention, Diversion Program

Registered nurses and other health care professionals are not immune to the diseases of substance use disorder or mental illness. This five-hour seminar, offered Monday, April 10 in Los Angeles and Tuesday, April 11 in the Inland Empire, is designed to provide hospitals with critical information on the Board of Registered Nursing and Healthcare Professionals’ Intervention Program and Diversion Program.
