Registration Now Open for 2015-2016 California Physician Leadership Program

Due to the success of the inaugural California Physician Leadership Program, the hospital associations are pleased to announce that a second cohort will begin in September and registration is now open for the 2015 – 2016 sessions. The California Physician Leadership Program is an interactive training course designed to advance California physicians’ ability to navigate the increasingly complex, often ambiguous, health care landscape.

HASC offers a new program focusing on the people side of change, which integrates an understanding of how people respond to change, with a 6-Step Change Model and practical tools embedded at each step. These tools are designed to help people through the transition process and clarify tasks essential to implement successful organizational change.

Annual Meeting Session on Cyber Security Will Explore the Role of Leadership

Faculty has been announced for The Role of Leadership in Health Care Cyber Security, a breakout session at HASC’s upcoming Annual Meeting, April 22-24 at Park Aviara Resort in Carlsbad.

The moderator of this session will be John Mullen, Esq., Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard & Smith, LLP. Featured panelists are: Richard Greenberg, CISSP, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health; Jim McQuaid, AIG Claims Division; and Jill Plesh, Esq., Citrus Valley Health Partners.
