HASC-affiliated National Health Foundation’s 62-bed
recuperative care center for people experiencing homelessness
opened on Oct. 12 — grabbing attention as a groundbreaking
venture. Also in this edition of HASC Briefs, Aurora Vista
del Mar Hospital in Ventura County marked a post-Thomas Fire
milestone with the opening of 25 beds.
HASC-founded National Health Foundation invites members to the
opening of its biggest recuperative care center yet –
a 62-bed facility in L.A.’s Pico-Union neighborhood. Also in
this issue of HASC Briefs, the association works with the Los
Angeles City Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles County
District Attorney’s Office to discuss issues related to
homeless patients and their discharge from hospitals.
Kristina Tran joins HASC as the organization’s Controller. Also

Anderson, new President/CEO at Marian Regional Medical
Center.
