After HASC launched its original Do Not Delay Care campaign in November, hospitals and clinics saw non-COVID-19 patients return to hospitals to schedule procedures and seek care. As winter’s surge filled hospital EDs and ICUs, however, a wave of fear once again kept patients away.
Power provider Southern California Edison has worked with HASC and HASC hospitals closely in recent years to ensure facilities are minimally impacted by public safety power shutoffs to prevent wildfire that may happen during hazardous weather conditions.
