Miscimarra, who joined the board in 2013, was named chair in April 2017. His term as NLRB chair ended in December.

Eighty-eight percent of physicians nationally indicate that some, many or all of their patients are affected by a social condition such as poverty, unemployment, lack of education, or drug addiction, that poses a serious impediment to their health, according to a new survey. Among California physicians completing the survey, the survey number is 85 percent.
On Jan. 17, HASC Workforce Development held a one-hour informational webinar titled How to Host a Summer 2019 HASC College to Career Diversity Internship Program, or CDIP. CDIP is an innovative, 10-week, full-time, project-based summer internship program to help address workforce needs at member hospitals and health systems.
